The project

A small daily circuit inside a larger puzzle network.

Hamilton Digital Media Limited creates puzzle websites, mobile games and books around logic, strategy, word play, deduction and brain-training challenges.

Puzzle Workout brings five selected stations into one short daily format. Each local date chooses five distinct skills from Memory, Attention, Speed, Logic, Numbers, Language, Spatial and Planning, then combines their results into one transparent Daily Score.

The site sits between traditional puzzle publishing and practical web-game engineering. A puzzle has to be logically correct, but it also needs clear instructions, responsive controls, fair progression and useful feedback when an answer goes wrong.

About Hamilton Digital Media

Why this site exists

Focused play,
without inflated promises.

The aim is a satisfying five-to-ten-minute ritual for adults who enjoy working something out. The experience should feel energetic and repeatable without pretending that a browser game can measure a person’s intelligence or health.

One complete circuit

Five deliberately different exercises prevent the daily session from becoming five versions of the same mechanic.

A shared daily challenge

Date-based seeds give everyone the same Standard workout on the same local day while standalone play continues to generate fresh practice.

Personal progress

Scores compare like-for-like games and difficulties in one browser. They are not population rankings, IQ scores or medical assessments.

How a game is made

Generation is only useful when the result is valid.

Each game begins with a tightly defined action: remember positions, find exact targets, continue a rule, solve a calculation or rotate a shape. The generator then creates variation inside those boundaries.

  1. Define the invariant.Write down what must always remain true for the puzzle to be fair.
  2. Generate from a seed.Make daily questions reproducible and standalone sessions varied.
  3. Validate the output.Reject duplicates, accidental matches, ambiguous reflections and invalid arithmetic before play.
  4. Test the experience.Check instructions, controls, timing, feedback and difficulty on phones and laptops.
  5. Explain the score.Weight accuracy before speed and state clearly what the result does not measure.

The people

Two perspectives,
one player experience.

Puzzle Workout combines technical puzzle systems with editorial and player-focused judgement. Both parts matter: a correct game can still be unclear, and an inviting game still needs reliable logic underneath it.

Publishing principles

What we hold the site to.

These are practical standards for games and articles, not marketing slogans.

Read the Puzzle Workout editorial policy
  • 01
    Clear before clever

A player should understand the task and controls before difficulty becomes the challenge.

  • 02
    Validate generated puzzles

Automation must preserve exact answers, unique matches and the stated rule.

  • 03
    Write for the actual subject

Every game and category article should be original, useful and specific—never a thin template with swapped keywords.

  • 04
    Be precise about scores

Workout results support personal comparison; they do not diagnose, rank intelligence or imply neurological benefit.

  • 05
    Respect the player’s device

Core play, progress and privacy should work without registration, public profiles or unnecessary data collection.
